"Imagine you and several billion other people had just been dropped onto a beautiful, virgin planet, called Earth, as equals. There are no rulers and there are lots of resources. There are no systems in place to facilitate peaceful, productive cohabitation yet all of you were committed to finding the best option. If you could design this world from scratch for the full, free, rich, all-round development of human powers and capacities, how would you do it and what might it look like? How could it be designed so that laws were irrelevant? Laws are essentially “patches” to compensate for design-flaws in the system—they exist to compensate for or regulate exploitation. For example, laws which exist to punish crimes like fraud, theft, burglary, tax evasion, etc—such laws exist to circumvent actors gaming the money system. What if there were no money system? How could a form of governance be created where, individually and collectively, people could see things as they really were (free from control-narratives) and synergistically satisfy the needs of humans and planet? How could people have more fealty to the truth than to their tribe? How could people with different value systems coexist peacefully, harmoniously, and accountably other than by looking down the end of the barrel of a gun? How could they build a system without design flaws?"
